# CiteStat — AI-Powered SEO Audit Tool

> CiteStat is a Vietnamese-first SEO audit and AI content analysis tool by ERPFit. It checks websites against 326+ rules from Google and Bing official documentation, simulates how AI search engines extract and cite content, and generates professional branded reports in Vietnamese and English.

## What CiteStat Does

CiteStat audits websites for search engine optimization across six categories: on-page SEO, technical SEO, structured data (Schema.org), performance (Core Web Vitals), GEO/AI readiness, and content quality. It also simulates how AI-powered search engines like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity extract and cite web content.

### Authentication

API key via Authorization header or api_key query param. Session cookies also accepted (primary method: auth.erpfit.com SSO with shared .erpfit.com cookie; local sign-in as fallback). Credit-based pricing: 1 scan = 1 credit. Free tier: 10 credits/day.

## CLI

Install: `curl -fsSL https://aiseo.erpfit.com/install.sh | sh`

Commands: scan, render, crawl, login, logout, whoami, keys, mcp

The CLI doubles as an MCP stdio server (`aiseo mcp`) for integration with Claude Code, Cursor, and other AI assistants.

## MCP Server

CiteStat provides MCP tools via two transports:

1. **Stdio** (via CLI): `aiseo mcp` — for Claude Code/Desktop integration
2. **HTTP** (hosted): `POST https://aiseo.erpfit.com/api/mcp` — no local install needed

- seo_opportunities(domain) — SEO growth opportunities from Google Search Console
- seo_trend(scanId1, scanId2) — Score and finding changes between two scans
- seo_metrics(domain, limit?) — Scan history and score trend for a domain
- seo_submit(urls, key?) — Submit URLs to search engines via IndexNow
- seo_backlinks(domain, driver?) — Domain authority and backlink profile
- seo_keywords(seed, lang?, source?, alphabet?) — Keyword and question ideas from Google/YouTube autocomplete

## Technology

Built with Bun, Hono, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, better-auth, i18next, and cheerio. Uses Google PageSpeed Insights API (free) for Core Web Vitals data.
